Description
Classic J-hooks for attaching wire mesh to solar panels. To install:
- Push the hook through your wire mesh and hook it around the lip of the solar panel frame.
- Push the pushnut (black rectangular part) onto the end of the wire until it cinches tight against the wire mesh.
- Cut off excess wire with a pair of diagonal cutters or tin snips. Leave at least 1/2″ of the wire extending past the pushnut.
Why should you buy from us instead of Amazon.com, Heyco or other sellers?
- Solar Armor clips use an aluminum pushnut and wire, unlike the stainless products you’ll find on Amazon. The aluminum parts dig into each other for a stronger hold than stainless.
- Our pushnut is larger than other brands’, making it less prone to going crooked and losing its grip once installed.
- The aluminum wire is a cinch to cut off with a pair of diagonal cutters or tin snips. It cuts easily and does not turn the offcut piece into a high speed projectile, like with stainless steel wires.
Pushnuts are coated black to blend in with your wire mesh, solar panels and racking.
