Warranty

The terms described below may be overridden on a product-by-product basis. Any product-specific terms are specified on the product’s Shop page, e.g. under the heading Purchase Terms, Warranty or Returns.

Slick Tools branded product warranty

If any Slick Tools branded product, due to manufacturing or material defects and/or regular wear and tear, becomes inoperable or loses significant function within 1 year of delivery to the Buyer, the Seller will perform any repairs necessary to restore the product to its original functional state. Both parts and labor are covered by the warranty. The Buyer must cover the cost of shipping the product to the Seller for repair. The Seller will cover the cost of shipment back to the Buyer. This warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence (e.g. drops or impacts), damage caused by improper use (e.g. not following the use instructions provided by the Seller), or cosmetic damage that does not significantly affect the product’s function.

All other products sold by Slick Tools

No warranty is provided by Slick Tools LLC. The original manufacturer of the product may offer a warranty; if so, this information may be stated on the product’s Shop page under the Additional Information or Warranty headings. Manufacturer warranty information is provided for the convenience of the customer only, and is not ensured or guaranteed by Slick Tools LLC.

Returns

The terms described below may be overridden on a product-by-product basis. Any product-specific terms are specified on the product’s Shop page, e.g. under the heading Purchase Terms, Warranty or Returns.

The Buyer may initiate a return within 30 calendar days of receiving ordered item(s) for any reason, as long as the item(s) have received no functional damage and show only light signs of use. The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. On receipt of the returned item(s), the Seller will issue a refund of up to 100% of the purchase price, less the shipping cost and any damages to the unit(s).

Rentals

The Renter may rent ordered item(s) for as long as they want. The Renter will be charged weekly, for as long as they rent the unit(s). The first week begins the day of the initial transaction. The rental period ends on the day Slick Tools receives the unit(s) back from the Renter. The unit(s) will be inspected upon receipt by Slick Tools LLC and Slick Tools LLC reserves the right to charge the Renter for any damages incurred to the unit(s) during the rental period. Should the Renter damage the unit(s) during the rental period, Slick Tools LLC will charge the Renter a repair fee not to exceed the list price of the unit(s).

Purchase of rented equipment

Some rental products may be converted to purchases. Only products which are explicitly identified as convertible by Slick Tools LLC in the product description may be converted to a purchase. When a renter contacts Slick Tools LLC to initiate a rental conversion, Slick Tools LLC will charge the Renter for the full price of the unit(s), subtracting the Rental set-up fee already paid by the Renter. Weekly rental charges will not be refunded. Upon purchasing the item(s), the Purchase Terms as described by Slick Tools LLC take effect.
