Spindle Support Reinforcement Kit

Description

Use this kit to repair or reinforce a broken Spindle Support Plate on any model AG Bender.

These parts now come pre-installed on all new AG Benders, so it isn’t necessary to order them with a new Bender.

The Spindle Support Plate can break if the Bender is dropped or carried by its spindle, so we developed this part and offer it at cost to support existing customers.

The kit comes with everything you need to upgrade/repair the Spindle Support Plates on both sides of an AG Bender, except for a drill and C-clamp which you must provide yourself. If you order multiple kits, we’ll provide multiple sets of the parts but only one of each tool (drill bit, hex key).

Tip: Avoiding Damage to Spindle Supports

The most common cause of failure of the original Spindle Support Plates is the Bender being carried by the spindle, shown below left. When the Bender is carried this way, if one end of the spindle slips out, a large torque will be placed on the opposite side which can break the hook off. So, please instruct all AG Bender users to carry the machine by its base as shown below right.
