Replacement AG Bender™ Spindle Adapters

Description

The Spindle Adapters fit on either side of the wire mesh in an AG Bender™. The Adapters prevent side-to-side motion of the mesh while it is being pulled through the machine. They feature set screws to lock each adapter to the spindle, which can be (gently) tightened with a 9/64 hex key (included). These replacement parts will fit any model Bender.

We used to install a pair of plastid “pegs” in each Spindle Adapter, the purpose of which was to create drag on the mesh while dispensing to prevent unwanted uncoiling. The pegs have been discontinued for AG Benders R7.8 and newer, as we found over time that they created more problems than they solved. However, they’re included in this kit for the benefit of folks with older Benders. Installing them is optional.
